Exploring the relationship between Director and Movement Director with Vicki Manderson

Vicki is a choreographer and movement director based in Glasgow. In this workshop she will share her process on working with directors in rehearsals, how she finds space in text for moments for movement to exist and how to begin to realise these moments. Recent shows that she has worked on include Burn (National Theatre of Scotland), The Hope River Girls (groupwork), The Ocean at the End of the Lane as Associate Movement Director (National Theatre), these are some of the shows she will draw from during the workshop.

The session will take place 2 – 4pm on Tuesday 9th May, in person at Northern Stage. It may involve some practical elements, so please wear comfortable clothing for gentle movement.
