Those donors who are able to make a larger contribution become part of our exclusive JMK Awards Circle and can support one of the following:
£2,000 per year - Runner Up prize for the JMK Award
This prize enables the recipient to develop their work as a director, either through funding towards developing ideas or a production.
£2,500 per venue per year - Regional Bursary
This enables one member of each of our regional directors' groups to assist on a production at their local venue.
£5,500 per year - Activities for shortlisted JMK Award applicants
This includes the final workshop weekend which enables the finalists to work with actors on their chosen play.
£8,000 per year - Development weeks for the 8 JMK Award finalists and regional bursary recipients
This enables our finalists and bursary recipients to work with leading figures from the industry through talks, workshops and a project working with professional actors.
Up to £25,000 - The JMK Award
This enables one outstanding director, the winner of the JMK Award, to direct their choice of classic play at the Young Vic. The £25,000 goes towards the cost of actors, rehearsal space, set, props and costume along with marketing and publicity.
Members of the JMK Awards Circle have a special relationship with the Trust and are able to access special events.
