JMK Workshop – Groupwork: Devising and Rehearsal Process

Groupwork is an award winning Scottish based theatre company that uses an integrated, collaborative approach to creating new work; sitting at the intersection of dance, theatre and multi-media performance. our work is visually poetic, formally playful and thematically bold, putting movement, image and sound work at the forefront of our process.

We develop our work through periods of research, experimentation and play; collaborating with a shifting roster of artists including performers, playwrights and designers.

Led by co-directors Vicki Manderson and Finn den Hertog this workshop will give participants a practical insight into our devising and rehearsal process.

The session will take place 11am – 1pm on Thursday 20th April, in person at The Traverse.

It may involve some practical elements so please wear comfortable clothing for gentle movement.
