Unlocking the Scene

Led by JMK Director Practitioner Piers Black, this is a practical directing workshop on how to find your way into a scene when approaching it for the first time. Whether it’s new writing or a classic, this session will go through some approaches and exercises to help unpick and unlock a piece of text. These skills will add to your director’s toolkit, revealing creative and fun ways to prepare on your own and work with actors.
