JMK Gift Membership & Awards Circle

The Perfect Gift for a Theatre Lover

Looking for a present for someone who loves the arts? Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or another special occasion, our Gift Membership is the perfect solution. It gives access to the most exciting new theatre talent in the industry.

Gift Membership includes an exclusive invitation to our industry event where we announce the winner of the JMK Award, the chance to meet some of our alumni directors through the year and a ticket to the JMK Award winning production during its run.

Gift Memberships cost £50 (valid for one year) and come with a greetings card, which can be sent to you or direct to the recipient.

This is a unique gift, enabling your recipient to go behind the scenes in the discovery of the next generation of exceptional theatre talent. Plus, every penny of your purchase goes on charitably supporting our emerging directors.

Please contact Jo Holding, General Manager, on jo@jmktrust.org to purchase this special gift.

Join the exclusive JMK Awards Circle

Those donors who are able to make a larger contribution become part of our exclusive JMK Awards Circle and can support one of the following:

£2,000 per year – Runner Up prize for the JMK Award
This prize enables the recipient to develop their work as a director, either through funding towards developing ideas or a production.

£2,500 per venue per year – Assistant Director Bursary
This enables one member of each of our national directors’ groups to assist on a production at their local venue.

£5,500 per year – Activities for shortlisted JMK Award applicants
This includes the final workshop weekend which enables the finalists to work with actors on their chosen play.

£8,000 per year – Development weeks for the 8 JMK Award finalists and Assistant Director bursary recipients
This enables our finalists and bursary recipients to work with leading figures from the industry through talks, workshops and a project working with professional actors.

Up to £25,000 – The JMK Award
This enables one outstanding director, the winner of the JMK Award, to direct their choice of classic play at the Orange Tree Theatre. The £25,000 goes towards the cost of actors, rehearsal space, set, props and costume along with marketing and publicity.

Members of the JMK Awards Circle have a special relationship with the Trust and are able to access special events including opportunities to meet with the directors we have supported over the years and watch their current productions. Please get in touch with Jo Holding, jo@jmktrust.org, to discuss how we can create your perfect package.
