Abstract Visual Language
with
During this workshop Ned will explore how a director can work collaboratively in order to create a symbolic theatrical language. We’ll look at the relationship between expression, description and clarity in storytelling through an integration of production elements.
10 spaces are available. Our aim is to put together groups with a similar level of experience, so we may schedule an extra session if demand is high.
As with all our events, please inform us as soon as possible if you are no longer able to attend. There will be a waiting list for participants who wish to join once the workshop has reached capacity.
This event is for directors based in and around Yorkshire. It takes the place of our directors’ group normally hosted by Leeds Playhouse.
The workshop will take place 10 – 11:30 a.m. on Monday 27th July on Zoom, and will be facilitated by Piers Black.
To reserve your place, and receive a Zoom invitation, please email a CV or short paragraph/list, outlining your directing experience, to piersblackjmk@gmail.com before 12pm Tuesday 21st July.
If you have any access requirements, need technical support or have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact piersblackjmk@gmail.com
