The 2018 JMK Sherman Directors’ Group:
Supported by the Carne Trust, our 2018 directors’ group worked very intensively with a small group of directors. In partnership with the Sherman, we selected the directors who would most benefit from the support at this stage of their careers.
The selected directors benefited from numerous free skills workshops, networking events and access to mentoring and support throughout the year, with opportunities to work in both Welsh and English. They also partnered up with a writer from the Sherman’s New Welsh Playwrights Programme to develop and showcase a new piece of work. Members of the Directors’ Group were also eligible to apply for Assistant Director positions.
