Ask an Artistic Director
with
Chris Haydon |
Please Note that this event has had to be rescheduled. The revised details are below.
Artistic Directors are seen as some of the most influential individuals in the theatre industry.
But what do they actually do?
And, more importantly, what does one need to do to get a show out of them?
In this session, Christopher Haydon will talk about his own experience of running two very different theatres, The Gate and The Rose Kingston, and of working with other AD’s in a range of different contexts.
He will also answer any questions about all aspects of the job, including: programming, fundraising, institutional leadership, and co-producing.
Please send in any other questions you may want to ask on the day when requesting a place, so these can be included by Chris in the session.
This #JMKSpace event is open to all. It takes the place of our directors’ groups normally hosted by Sherman Theatre Cardiff, Bristol Old Vic and The Nuffield Theatres.
The workshop will take place 11.30 am-1.00pm on Monday June 1st on Zoom.
To reserve your free place, and receive a Zoom invitation, please email– jo@jmktrust.org
